Stanford Res: 2 Curlew Sandpipers, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Redshank & 2 Black-tailed Godwits.

Eyebrook Res: 3 Curlew Sandpipers, Little Stint, 3 Greenshanks, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 7 Ruff, 2 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpipers & 10 Ringed Plovers.

Rutland Water: Marsh Harrier & 4 Greenshanks, South Arm 3; 1st-summer Little Gull, North Arm; Black Tern, South Arm 2; Green Sandpiper & Ruff, Lagoon 1.

Ravenstone/Normanton: 3 Wheatears at Longmoor.

Tuesday 30th

Eyebrook Res: 6 Whimbrels briefly at the inflow end, plus 5 Black-tailed Godwits, 10 Ruff, 2 Greenshanks, Dunlin & Common Sandpiper.

Stanford Res: 3 Curlew Sandpipers, 2 Wood Sandpipers, Knot, 6 Greenshanks, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 20 Ruff & 19 Ringed Plovers.

Rutland Water: Wood Sandpiper & Spotted Redshank, Lapwing hide, also Black Tern & 3 Garganey, South Arm.

Launde Abbey: 1 Redstart.

Stoughton Airfield: 3 Wheatears on the east side.

Monday 29th

Rutland Water: Curlew Sandpiper, North Arm; 3 Whinchats, Mallard hide (Lagoon 1); Wheatear, Old Hall.

Stanford Res: Knot, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Greenshanks, 6 Ruff & Green Sandpiper, all on the Leics side this morning.

Swithland Res: Osprey flew SW this afternoon.

Sunday 28th

Rutland Water: Spotted Redshank & 2 Garganey, Lapwing hide, plus Whimbrel over at 12:50 and 2 Curlew Sandpipers briefly at 16:00 before flying towards Gadwall hide; Sanderling just west of Old Hall; 3 Black-tailed Godwits, Lagoon 1, also Turtle Dove flew over Lagoon 1/wet meadow; c40 Ruff around the reserve.

Eyebrook Res: 3 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Greenshanks, 10 Ruff & 8 Ringed Plovers at the inflow.

Groby Pool: Redstart & 2 Spotted Flycatchers still 800m NNW of the pool.

Saturday 27th

Rutland Water: 2 Knot, 2 Wood Sandpipers, Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper & Red-crested Pochard, North Arm; adult Med Gull, Lyndon; 5 Black Terns, South Arm 3 + Little Stint & 48 Ruff around the reserve.

Groby Pool: 1 Whinchat, 2 Redstarts, 2 Tree Pipits & 3+ Spotted Flycatchers, all c800m NNW of the pool.

Eyebrook Res: 5 Black-tailed Godwits, 3 Greenshanks, 2 Dunlin, 10 Ruff, 2 Green Sandpipers, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 LRP & 11 Ringed Plovers.

Western Park: Lesser Spotted Woodpecker this morning.

Deans Lane: 1 Tree Pipit over.

Swithland Res: 8 Greenshanks.

Friday 26th

Rutland Water: 3 Wood Sandpipers, Lagoon 1; 7 Black Terns, South Arm, also Little Stint & 33 Ruff.

Thursday 25th

Rutland Water: 2 Wood Sandpipers, North Arm; 10 Black Terns & 25 Ruff, Manton Bay.

Langton Caudle: 1 Redstart.

Groby Pool: Redstart still 800m NNW of the pool at SK517092, but mobile and elusive.

Cossington Meadows: 8 Green Sandpipers, 1 Common Sandpiper & 2 Dunlin.

Wednesday 24th

Stanford Res: 2 Black Terns.

Bradgate Park: Redstart in trees near the white cottage just inside the Hallgates entrance.

Glooston: male Redstart 100 yards down farm ttrack from the pub, at SP748959.

Eyebrook Res: Greenshank, 5 Ruff, Dunlin & Common Sandpiper.

No reports of Cattle Egret today.

Tuesday 23rd

Rutland Water: Cattle Egret, Lagoon 1; 3 Little Terns, North Arm; 3 Garganey & 4 Red-crested Pochards, Lapwing hide.

Welby: 3 Redstarts (also 1 yesterday).

Hicks Lodge, Moira: 2 Redstarts on the south side of the lake.

Burrough Hill: 1 Tree Pipit over this morning.

Monday 22nd

Rutland Water: Cattle Egret, Burley Fishponds this evening.

Burrough Hill: 3 Redstarts (1 male) in the north-east corner of the hill fort by the wood, also 7+ Spotted Flycatchers.

Bardon Hill: 1 Tree Pipit.

Eyebrook Res: Greenshank & 2 Ruff.

Sunday 21st

Eyebrook Res: Cattle Egret still, between the island and the dam, but went missing for several hours this afternoon. Flew across the reservoir to the willows on the Rutland side this evening, presumably to roost. Also female Marsh Harrier, Whinchat south of the island, Black Tern at the inflow, 7 Ruff, 2 Greenshanks, Dunlin, Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper & 27 Ringed Plovers.

Burrough Hill: 2 Redstarts on the north-west side of the hill fort, also Spotted Flycatcher.

Swithland Res: Osprey over the south side this morning.

Stanford Res: 4 Wood Sandpipers, 5 Greenshanks, 5 Ruff, 2 Green Sandpipers & 1 Common Sandpiper.

Saturday 20th

Eyebrook Res: Cattle Egret at the inflow from 18:00 - 19:15, when it flew off down the reservoir and could not be relocated. Also 2 Greenshanks, 5 Dunlin & 7 Ruff.

Rutland Water: Honey Buzzard over Burley Wood at 09:55.

Friday 19th

Groby Pool: Redstart still 500m NNW of the pool.

Eyebrook Res: juv Med Gull, 5 Ruff, 2 Greenshanks & 5 Dunlin.

Thursday 18th

Cropston Res: male Redstart at SK541100, also Wheatear, and Common Sandpiper on the dam.

Groby Pool: Redstart 500m north-north-west of the pool at SK517092, but mobile and elusive.

Wednesday 17th

Rutland Water: 6 Whimbrels flew over Egleton this afternoon.

Cossington Meadows: no sign of Wood Sandpiper today; 8 Green Sandpipers & 1 Common Sandpiper, Upper Marsh.

Tuesday 16th

Rutland Water: Wood Sandpiper, Manton Bay; 3 Turnstones + Red-crested Pochard, Lapwing hide; 2 Garganey, Burley Fishponds. Also around the reserve: 17 Ruff, 19 Greenshanks & 20 Green Sandpipers.

Cossington Meadows: Wood Sandpiper & 5 Green Sandpipers, Upper Marsh; Green Sandpiper & Common Sandpiper, Hobley Lake.

Cropston Res: male Redstart along footpath at the back of the reservoir, c SK540099.

Eyebrook Res: Marsh Harrier, 5 Ruff, 2 Dunlin & 2 Common Sandpipers.

Burrough Hill: 1 Wheatear.

Monday 15th

Rutland Water: Turnstone & Little Gull, Lapwing hide.

Sunday 14th

Rutland Water: 3 Turnstones, South Arm 3; Wheatear, Lagoon 6; 13+ Ruff & 13+ Greenshanks around the reserve.

Eyebrook Res: Little Stint, Dunlin, 5 Ruff & 3 Common Sandpipers, plus female Marsh Harrier over at 14:50.

Charnwood Lodge: Redstart in hedge by the entrance track, also 4 Wheatears at Timberwood Hill.

Welby (just north of Melton Mowbray): 1 Whinchat.

Swithland Res: 5 Greenshanks.

Brascote Pits: Ruff, Green Sandpiper & Common Sandpiper.

Kelham Bridge: 4 Green Sandpipers.

Saturday 13th

Brascote Pits: Greenshank, Ruff & Common Sandpiper.

Friday 12th

Rutland Water: 3 Turnstones, 4 Greenshanks & 9 Green Sandpipers, North Arm; Spotted Redshank & 10 Dunlin, South Arm 3; 17 Ruff around the reserve.

Thursday 11th

Honey Buzzard flew over Newtown Linford at 11:10, then south-west over Groby Pool at 12:20.

Rutland Water: Whimbrel, North Arm; 2 Little Stints, South Arm 3 island; Marsh Harrier & Little Gull still around the Egleton reserve; Black-tailed Godwit, 3+ Ruff & 3 Green Sandpipers, Lagoon 1; 2 Greenshanks & 2 Green Sandpipers, Lapwing hide; 2 Common Sandpipers at the dam; 2 Greenshanks & 2 Common Sandpipers, Manton Bay.

Eyebrook Res: Sanderling on the Leics side at the inflow, also Ruff, Dunlin & 2 Common Sandpipers.

Wednesday 10th

Rutland Water: female Marsh Harrier still, Lagoon 3; Knot, Lagoon 4; 2 Greenshanks & Green Sandpiper, South Arm 3. Also Little Stint & Sanderling somewhere.

Tuesday 9th

Burrough Hill: female Redstart on west slope of hill fort this evening.

Rutland Water: Black-necked Grebe still from Lapwing hide, plus Marsh Harrier still around.

Eyebrook Res: female Marsh Harrier, Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpipers, 2 Common Sandpipers & 6 Dunlin.

Monday 8th

Rutland Water: Turnstone, Lapwing hide; Marsh Harrier, Lapwing hide; Arctic Tern, Fishponds, also Sanderling (unspecified area) + usual passage waders.

Eyebrook Res: 2 Wood Sandpipers still at the inflow, also 2 Dunlin, 5 Green Sandpipers & 4 Common Sandpipers.

Sunday 7th

Eyebrook Res: 2 Wood Sandpipers still, plus 7 Greenshanks & 2 Common Sandpipers.

Rutland Water: Black-necked Grebe, Lapwing hide; Marsh Harrier, Lagoon 3; 2 Ruff & 1 Green Sandpiper, Lagoon 1.

Cossington Meadows: 2 Green Sandpipers & 1 Common Sandpiper.

Saturday 6th

Eyebrook Res: 2 Wood Sandpipers still at the inflow, also 1 Garganey.

Priory Water: Osprey flew towards Frisby GP at 15:30.

Friday 5th

Rutland Water: Marsh Harrier, Crake hide; Little Gull, Lagoon 1; Red-crested Pochard, South Arm 2; 25 Green Sandpipers & 10+ Common Sandpipers around the reserve.

Eyebrook Res: 2 Wood Sandpipers still at the inflow, also 1 Black-tailed Godwit.

Swithland Res: Garganey, south side; 2 Greenshanks & 1 Common Sandpipers, north side.

Thursday 4th

Eyebrook Res: Little Tern, 2 Wood Sandpipers, 8 Black-tailed Godwits, Greenshank & 5 Common Sandpipers at the inflow.

Wednesday 3rd

Eyebrook Res: Wood Sandpiper, 10 Black-tailed Godwits, Green Sandpiper & 5 Common Sandpipers at the inflow; 8 Red-crested Pochards opposite Stoke Dry car park; Greenshank near the island.

Tuesday 2nd

Rutland Water: 17 Black Terns, North Arm.

Great Casterton: 2 Quails singing south of Home Farm.

Cossington Meadows: Greenshank, 7+ Green Sandpipers & 2 Common Sandpiper.

Birstall Meadows: Dunlin & Common Sandpiper.
