Indoor Meetings
2014/15

Each year the Society stages eight indoor meetings between October - May. They are usually held on the first Friday of the month, dependant on the timings of the New Year and Easter holidays, and start at 7.30pm. These are currently held at two alternating venues: the Church Lounge at Oadby Trinity Methodist Church, Harborough Road, (off the central car park) Oadby Leicester LE2 4LA (click here for map), and the Rothley Centre, 12 Mountsorrel Lane, Rothley, Leicester LE7 7PR (click here for map). Both of these venues are next to large car parks.

Additional meetings may also be held at the Rutland Water Education Centre during the year, which will be publicised via this website and The Grebe newsletter.

The meetings feature illustrated talks by experienced ornithologists, artists, conservationists or photographers. They are an ideal way to meet and socialise with other members and the committee, whilst enjoying the excellent photos, anecdotes and varied subject matter of the speakers. All meetings are free to members. For more information, please contact Mark Skevington.
